Tell Congress to support funding for DASH & TPPP!

The House of Representatives is discussing funding for fiscal year 2021, including funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Adolescent School Health (DASH) and the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program (TPPP). We must act now to ensure our members of Congress continue to prioritize these essential programs. Contact your members of Congress, with a priority of contacting members serving on the House Appropriations Committee, today!

Now more than ever, we must stress the importance of DASH and TPPP in ensuring young people nationwide receive more comprehensive sex education and are able to access reproductive health care services.  Click below to email your members right now.

As a friendly reminder, anyone can educate their member of Congress on the crucial services that the Division of Adolescent School Health and the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program provide! While many advocates and grantees may not be able to directly lobby congressional offices, you can always educate your members of Congress on the wonderful work that DASH and TPPP do to support young people in your community. Grantees can also advocate for increased federal funding, as long as they are not using federal funding to do so. Be sure you’re familiar with the advocacy rules of your organization prior to taking action.

It’s time to let Congress know that DASH and TPPP must receive substantial funding in FY 2021 to maintain their vital work!
