Yes. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information with anyone else, nor will we send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
You can view and manage your monthly gift at our donor portal. You may also contact us directly to assist you with modifying your recurring donation.
If you donate online, a donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on the form. If you have not received a receipt, please be sure to check your spam or junk folder. If you contribute via check, you will receive a donation receipt via mail. If you make a recurring gift, you will receive an annual giving statement each year. If you do not receive your tax receipt or you misplace it, you may access and print your tax receipt via the donor portal or contact us directly.
To request emailed receipts for future contributions, online or offline, contact us at development@siecus.org with your full name and mailing address.
If you made a one-time online donation, you will be charged on the same day you intiate the transaction. For monthly recurring donations, monthly charges occur once per month on the same day of the month that the first transaction was initially made.

Yes, you may securely donate over the phone by calling our Development Manager at (202) 265-2405 (ext. 3). Please do not leave any sensitive financial information, such as credit card numbers, in a voicemail. SIECUS will never call to request your credit card information unless you have explicitly requested to donate in that manner.
