Madeleine Lowe

Policy Analyst

As the Policy Analyst, Madeleine contributes to both federal and state policy work, conducting research and analyses of sex education policy activity and developing various publications including the SIECUS State Profiles and Year-End Legislative Reports.

Prior to joining SIECUS, Madeleine worked as a Policy & Programs Associate at Issue One, supporting policy activities and managing programs, including a 185-member caucus of former federal officials, advocating for government accountability.

Her previous experience includes working with Advocates for Youth and Power to Decide (formerly the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy) on federal policy and lobbying activities aimed at empowering young people and ensuring their access to the sexual and reproductive health resources they need to stay healthy.

Madeleine is from the Pacific Northwest and graduated summa cum laude from American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
