As the Policy Analyst, Gabrielle is responsible for developing the SIECUS State Profiles, crafting issue briefs, monitoring key legislation related to sex education, coordinating SIECUS advocacy efforts, and supporting additional state and federal policy initiatives.
Prior to joining SIECUS, Gabrielle completed her Master of Arts degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies with a Public Policy Concentration from the George Washington University. During her studies, she was awarded the ‘Making a Difference’ Women’s and Gender Studies Graduate Award for her research proposal concerning the experiences of transgender and non-binary people in accessing abortion care.
Her previous experience includes numerous public policy and research internships at organizations such as the American Association of University Women, the Human Rights Campaign, NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland, and URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity.
Hailing from the Midwest, Gabrielle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University before moving to DC in 2017 to pursue her graduate degree.
