Darrion J. Beckles is a professional storyteller and creative strategist with over a decade of experience in content management, media production, journalism, and public relations. He has worked with small businesses, non-profits, government agencies, and print and digital publications.

Prior to joining SIECUS: Sex Ed for Social Change, Darrion worked in the executive office at the Office of Employee Appeals as a Content and Database Manager. There, he focused on increasing the agency’s public visibility and engagement through website optimization and strategic organic social planning.

In addition to his work at the Office of Employee Appeals and as a strategy consultant for various organizations and businesses in the DC area, this Brooklyn native is passionate about improving the lives of children through art, activism, advocacy, and education.
