The Senate is just one vote shy of taking health care from millions—AGAIN

Despite overwhelming support for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Senate Republicans have proposed a last-ditch effort to repeal it and eliminate health care coverage for millions—again. And they’re just one vote away from making that happen! The Graham-Cassidy bill is another attempt to take away health care from those who need it most.

Congress needs to hear from us…right now!

“Graham-Cassidy” is just a new name for the same destructive ACA repeal efforts that Senators on both sides of the aisle—and the public—have rejected time and time again. Passage of this cruel bill would mean:

  • Slashing funding for Medicaid, stripping coverage from millions of low-income people who rely on this program for their health care needs
  • Another attempt to defund Planned Parenthood—a national provider of vital preventive and life-saving services
  • Cutting health care coverage while raising premiums and out-of-pocket costs for millions of people with pre-existing conditions

Congress has until September 30 to consider this proposal, led by Senators Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA), and they need to hear from you now.

Access to health care is a human right and it’s critical for ensuring our sexual and reproductive health. We will not sit back and allow policymakers to take life-saving care away from millions of people.

Use our easy-to-follow 6-step guide to call your Senators to tell them that the Graham-Cassidy bill is simply unacceptable and that all people have a right to health care!

Thank you for taking action.
